At its June 8 meeting, the Minnetonka City Council approved an agreement for volunteer trail maintenance
At its August 26, 2019 meeting, city council voted to approve the concept plan for mountain biking trails in Lone Lake Park.
On Monday, August 26 at 6:30 PM the Minnetonka City Council will vote on the proposed trails at Lone Lake Park. Public comment will be allowed. Please plan to attend and show your support. Bring your friends and family, especially the kids.
On June 17, 2019 the lawsuit filed against the City of Minnetonka was resolved. The court ruled that the City did not need to complete an EAW as part of the plan to bring trails to Lone Lake Park.
On October 9, 2018, the Minnetonka City Council postponed the vote for proposed trails at Lone Lake Park due to lawsuit filed by residents opposed to the trails.
On June 6th, 2018, the City of Minnetonka Park Board unanimously voted to approve the plan for 4.7 miles of single track trail at Lone Lake Park. Next up, the City Council (scheduled for July 9th, 2018)!
At the February 7th, 2018, park board meeting the City of Minnetonka proposed Lone Lake Park as the single location for the development of sustainable mountain bike trails in Minnetonka.
On November 1st, 2017, the City of Minnetonka recognized the volunteer efforts of the Minnetonka Mountain Bike Trail Advocates at Big Willow Park. We were honored to receive this award for making Big Willow Park a better place for all users!
