MINNESOTA SUPREME COURT DENIES PETITION FOR REVIEW OF EAW RULING

On Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019, the petition to review the ruling upholding the city council’s decision to not conduct an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) in Lone Lake Park was denied by the Minnesota Supreme Court. City staff has stated that trail construction is expected to begin in 2020.

MINNETONKA CITY COUNCIL APPROVES MOUNTAIN BIKING TRAILS CONCEPT PLAN FOR LONE LAKE PARK

At its August 26, 2019 meeting, city council voted to approve the concept plan for mountain biking trails in Lone Lake Park.

The council’s decision is contingent on a favorable ruling from the Minnesota Supreme Court regarding the petition for review of the ruling upholding city council’s decision to not conduct an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) in Lone Lake Park.

CITY SETS DATE FOR VOTE

On Monday, August 26 at 6:30 PM the Minnetonka City Council will vote on the proposed trails at Lone Lake Park. Public comment will be allowed. Please plan to attend and show your support. Bring your friends and family, especially the kids.
